I started Metropolitan School of Real Estate, at least in part, because I believe real estate education should be engaging and informative – not something we suffer through. It should help prepare folks for exams and make us better real estate agents. Based on my own experiences with exam prep and continuing education, I felt we could make pre-licensure and continuing education more worthwhile experiences, and I think we’ve done so.
In 2009, I attended a meeting of real estate school operators held by the Massachusetts Real Estate Board to solicit our feedback about how to improve real estate education. I stood up and said that since online education had become the standard in so many other industries, it was high time to take a serious look at allowing agents to complete their continuing education online. In 2011 the Board finally sanctioned online continuing education. Not long afterward, two enterprising young real estate professionals approached me about writing, producing, and appearing in a series of videos for the purpose of offering continuing education online. The result is the series of continuing education video modules available to you through this site.
Our online continuing education offering is more affordable and easy to use and I hope you will find our video modules engaging, informative, and helpful to your ongoing real estate career. If you do, we hope you’ll tell your friends in the business. Either way, please let us know what you think. Take the course and tell us how to make it better. Tell us what other online courses you’d like to see offered. And, if you have other ideas as to how we can help improve your continuing education experience, or have any questions about the material presented in our videos, please drop us a line at [email protected] We’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for signing up for continuing education with Metropolitan School of Real Estate and good luck!
